Criteria for User Choice Program funding

Free Under 25's Apprenticeships

Free Under 25’s Apprenticeships funding covers the cost of apprenticeship training for Queensland apprentices and trainees under the age of 25, and that started between 1st January 2021 to 30th September 2022.

The government contributions are paid directly to the registered training organisations, such as Vertical Horizonz Australia, on behalf of the student and their employees.

Boost Funding

Boost funding is a federal government incentive that subsidises 50% of new apprentice and trainee wages. This funding aims to boost apprenticeship commencements and encourages businesses to employ newcomers into the industry, which Vertical Horizonz Australia will then train.

If your business employs an apprentice or trainee between 5th October 2020 until 31st March 2022, you will be eligible to claim Boost funding within 12 months of the commencement date.

Contact Vertical Horizonz Australia for funding information

Accessing training funding is the responsibility of the trainee or apprentice and their employer. It is best to contact the funding providers directly to access accurate information and funding applications.

However, contact Vertical Horizonz Australia if you require assistance on the funding programs available for the VHA course you wish to undertake, and we will organise a meeting with an Australian Apprenticeship Support Network representative.
