Vietnam’s wind energy sector has been hailed, Eco-Business, as a renewable energy success story of 2019. According to the report, Vietnam wind power capacity is likely to outpace other Asean nations combined.
The Global Wind Energy Council organised the 2020 Wind Power conference to again be hosted by Vietnam. With COVID 19 restrictions, it is likely they expect leveraging off the 2019 interest which saw: 400 international and domestic delegates and 56 industry and government speakers in attendance.
With low COVID rates, and wind power project construction time frames between two – three years, now is the time to work and explore.

Based in Ho Chi Minh city, VH delivered seven consecutive weeks of training ensuring the first 56 engineers and construction workers were ready by the lunar new year festival – Tet Nguyen Dan (TET) – February 2021.
This meant assembling a team capable of working together for the seven weeks and, deal with the two weeks isolation at either end of the program. Vertical Horizonz’s husband and wife team were the perfect fit; and yes, at the completion, they happily explored beautiful Vietnam.
