PURPOSE

This training specifies the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements. The National Assessment Instrument (NAI) is the mandated assessment for the HRWL to operate the relevant licencing class as detailed in this unit.

TLILIC0003 – Licence to operate a Forklift Truck

ENTRY CRITERIA

Must be 18 years or older.

Requirement to demonstrate a level of written and spoken English to do this: Equivalent to Level 1 English communication skills. Attendee must be at least 18 years of age to be able to do this course.

METHOD OF INSTRUCTION

The programme trainers are all experienced practical people. They speak everyday workplace language and have a wealth of real life examples to share with trainees. Trainees are encouraged to ‘have a go’ in a supportive, safe environment.
