The Certificate III in Trenchless Technology is a unique apprenticeship, designed for individuals working within the Civil Construction Industry, utilising forms of Trenchless Technology within their work environment.

This course covers a range of industry-specific core units of competency designed to ensure trainees understand how to plan and undertake work requirements, identify and mitigate hazards and communicate within the workplace. Examples of trenchless construction methods available may include:

Horizontal Directional Drilling
Auger
Pipe jacking
Microtunneling

The qualification is also suited to newcomers to the industry looking to secure a unique skill base and commence a successful career within the Trenchless Industry.

PURPOSE

This qualification reflects the role of a skilled operator working in trenchless technology in the civil construction industry, who applies a broad range of skills in a varied work context, using some discretion and judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge.
