The Standard 11 Mining Induction Course is aimed at individuals who are new to the mining industry, as well as those who require refresher training. PURPOSE
The Standard 11 Mining Induction Course provides training in the skills and knowledge necessary to comply with the Queensland regulations regarding surface cial mining operations in Queensland. This course is for any person requiring a Standard 11 surface induction to access a mine site in Queensland.

REQUIREMENTS:
Each participant must be capable of performing continuous uninterrupted cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for two minutes with five cycles of compressions and venitaltions on a floor-based resuscitaion manikin.
Requirement to demonstrate a level of written and spoken English to do this: Equivalent to Level 1 English communication skills.
METHOD OF INSTRUCTION
The programme trainers are all experienced practical people. They speak everyday workplace language and have a wealth of real life examples to share with trainees. Trainees are encouraged to ‘have a go’ in a supportive, safe environment.
