Vertical Horizonz Australia is a Skills Assure approved registered training organisation to deliver nationally recognised and accredited training subsidised by Queensland Government requirements.
The Skills Assure initiative is a part of the Skills for Queensland program to improve access to affordable and recognised training.
The User Choice Program offers fully funded courses through selected training organisations. Vertical Horizonz Australia supports the Skills Assure Program, with our Certificate III in Plant Operations and Certificate III in Trenchless Technology certificates available to those who meet the necessary criteria.

- Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident
- Or, a temporary resident with a visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency
Free Under 25's Apprenticeships
Free apprenticeships for under 25’s offers fully subsidised training for 139 priority apprenticeship and traineeship qualifications in areas such as electrical, plumbing and engineering as well as early childhood, aged and disability care. The Free apprenticeships for under 25s program will cover the cost of training for Queensland apprentices or trainees who commenced or are undertaking 1 of the 139 high priority apprenticeship or traineeship qualifications from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2024. Criteria for Free Under 25’s Apprenticeship funding:
- Under the age of 25
- A Queensland apprentice
- Commenced training between 1st January 2021 to 30th June 2023
- Using an approved registered training organisation
- Priority Qualification listed
